The system mat department moved to its new location
We are pleased to announce that we have recently opened a new factory floor for our system mat department. The location of the manufacturing plant has been moved from Piaseczno to the complex at 28 Emaliowa Street in the Okęcie district of Warsaw.
Since we decided to focus on export, the development of our company has been very dynamic. At the moment, our mats are used in 30 countries around the world, including some highly prestigious locations such as the Camp Nou Stadium in Barcelona, the Dubai World Trade Centre or the Abu Dhabi Global Market. Our growing customer base in Poland and our gradual expansion to foreign markets resulted in exhausting our means to develop production in the previous location. Hence, among other things, the decision to move to a new, larger location , says Aleksandra Kisły, the President of the Management Board of BP Techem.
System mats manufactured by BP Techem are the result of over 20 years of the company’s market experience, technological development and cooperation with international partners. ‘System mats’ is a popular name for the specially manufactured mats in aluminium profiles, which are the most commonly applied solution for shopping centres and office buildings. Due to their great popularity in various public facilities, they are sometimes also called facility mats.
To complete orders from all over the world, we need to produce 3–3.5 thousand square metres of mats per month. This requires a sufficiently large space and a qualified staff. However, the size of the space sought was not the only reason why we chose the new location near the Warsaw Chopin Airport. We also wanted our location to be more prestigious and easier to access for our foreign customers, adds the President.
BP Techem means more than system mats only. The company has been operating on the market for over 30 years thanks to diversification of the solutions it offers. Currently, there are eight departments within the company: Compressed Air and Vacuum Systems, Sealing Products, Abrasives, Oils and Lubricants, Work Safety Products, Analytical Systems and the department of Logistics and Storage.
